National Code on Corporate Governance
The Code on Corporate Governance was crafted with all organisations in mind. The principles found in this code apply to private and public institutions, SMEs, NGOs, Parastatals and State owned enterprises. The Code is an all-inclusive one, catering for all types of organisations found in Zimbabwe. It is essentially busuness sector driven and owned. It's gender sensitive and reflects corporate social responsibility imperatives based on the three "P's" - people, planet & profit.
In addition, the Code is properly set within the context of Zimbabwe. It's development oriented & based on the experiences & values of Zimbabweans, focusing not on the past, but on the present & the future - resonating with the national interest
